More than 30 restaurants will be participating in Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week, which starts today and runs through Sunday, August 24. Perfect timing for me, since my birthday is this week!
From Glenwood South to the Warehouse district to Moore Square, now is the time to try out a new restaurant or two, or revisit one of your favorites. The choices are numerous: Italian, Moroccan, Cajun, Laotian, Indian, Mexican, Korean, Lebanese, Japanese and southern cuisines are all represented.
The restaurants will be offering prix fixe menus for dinner and are $20 or $30 per person, depending on the venue. Some are offering appetizer samplers for $15 and others will have beer/wine pairings for an additional $10. Prices do not include tax, tip or beverages, and reservations are definitely recommended!

Bon appétit!
Eat, drink and be merry!
