The other day I brought a smoothie with me when I was getting my nails done, and my nail tech, Mandy, asked if I had ever tried an avocado smoothie. I had to admit that I had not, even though I love avocados. She raved about how good it was as well as easy, easy, easy to make, so I decided to give it a try. Mandy was right on both counts and I think I am going to be hooked on these things — delicious! Three simple ingredients plus ice and a blender, and you are ready for a treat full of flavor. I used fat-free, sweetened condensed milk and 2% milk, and did not sacrifice one bit on the taste.
Ingredients
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 avocado, sliced
- ½ cup 2% milk
- ½ cup fat-free, sweetened condensed milk
Preparation
Place all ingredients in a blender.
Blend until smooth — you may want to add some extra 2% milk to get the desired consistency.
Pour into a glass and enjoy!
