Tip of the Week – Scoop Some Sorbet

Heat got you down, especially in all of this 90+ degree weather? Here’s one great way to cool off (well, maybe just a little bit.) This week’s tip is to scoop some light and refreshing sorbet – not only does it taste great, but you don’t have to feel guilty eating it!

I love sorbet, and I think my favorite is raspberry. Luckily the grocery stores are carrying more flavors (and brands) than they did just a few years ago.

Nutritionally, it is much better for you than ice cream in terms of calories and fat. We’ll just ignore the sugar. Weight Watchers points = 2 (at least with the old system.)

Usually I don’t even bother with a bowl and eat it straight from the carton. Less dishes to clean 🙂
